Credits and License
WHAT'S A PEDIA! is an article-guessing quiz game built around Wikipedia-derived article information. This page summarizes the source and license treatment.
Wikipedia Content
Question text, section headings, article categories, and related source material are based on Wikipedia .
Article-level author attribution can be reviewed from each article page and its history page, which are reachable through the Wikipedia links shown after answers are resolved.
License
Wikipedia text is generally available under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International license (CC BY-SA 4.0).
This service transforms source material for gameplay by extracting excerpts, masking terms, and controlling section-by-section reveal timing. Reuse of transformed Wikipedia-derived text must also follow CC BY-SA 4.0.
Data Freshness
Article text and metadata used for gameplay are based on Wikipedia snapshots taken when the game data is prepared. They are not refetched on every play, so the version shown in the game can lag behind the current Wikipedia article. For the latest version, follow the Wikipedia link presented at the end of each round.
